Time to catch up

Yesterday My friends and I went to our Tuesday morning quilt class, first Tuesday BOM class and we had our guild meeting last night. Whew. Jessica Alexandrakis gave a lecture on English paper piecing. Of course Hexies are all the rage these days. Her book Quilting on the go is a great resource. Jessica's blog is titled Life under Quilts. I am thinking I will put together a little box to hand sew before going to Lancaster next week.

Back to the postage stamp quilt. After sewing six jelly rolls strips together, you need to cut off selvages and square up.

 Then crosscut 2 1/2 inch strips.

Then sew six of the crosscut strips together, which will need to wait until I catch up with my BOMs!
